The Illumine Core Star Meditation with Active Koshi Chimes is the beginning of a series of ten meditations designed to connect you to a sense of your inner being. As the introductory meditation to the series, this meditation is designed to deepen relaxation as you being to practice the ILLUMINE® style of entering into an alpha brainwave state. After this, you center in a positive emotion and then illumine this altered state with a focus on the inner light of your eternal being.

Koshi chimes are a soundscape created by bamboo chimes handmade at the foot of the Pyrenees mountains. The chimes have unique overtones, that, when you listen carefully, sound like a woman’s voice softly singing. As the chimes are played actively and for a longer period of time, the short overtones begin to develop a circular tone useful for deepening your meditation.

In this meditation, the Koshi chimes are played quite actively during the entire meditation to help clear the mind and heart of any extra distraction from a clear and pure focus on your inner light. The sound acts as a tool to help the mind relax and focus on the guided meditation. You may also imagine the sound breaking up any left over emotion in the heart and so purifying the emotional energetics of the heart.
